To qualify for this position, you must have sufficient knowledge and ability in the following job-related factors: Ability To Do The Work Of The Position Without More Than Normal Supervision (SCREEN OUT) Ability To Interpret Instructions, Specifications, etc. (other than blueprints) Ability To Use and Maintain Tools and Equipment Dexterity and Safety Knowledge of materials Technical Practices (theoretical precise, artistic) Use of Measuring Instruments The ability to do the work of and Restoration Worker, WG-5001-5 without more than normal supervision (Screen out) includes work such as assisting others in performing ecological restoration and vegetation management projects involving: building and repairing various types of fences; salvaging, transplanting and planting native plants using standard horticultural techniques; assisting with implementation of non-native plant control programs; using and maintaining a wide variety of power and hand tools; keeping records on restoration techniques, daily project accomplishments and preparing weekly reports; familiar with photo documentation methods; have ability to navigate with GPS, map, and compass.
