Responsibilities

  • Core Job Functions

  • Supervise the wiring, termination, and point-to-point verification of Emergency Off (EMO) circuits, tool interlocks, and Toxic Gas Monitoring System (TGMS) modules.
  • Utilize 3D models in the field to resolve routing conflicts between electrical conduits, cable trays, and neighboring mechanical or structural systems.
  • Direct and document critical field quality checks, including insulation resistance testing (Megger testing), grounding continuity verification, and proper torque labeling on terminations.
  • Coordinate the lockout/tagout (LOTO) and initial energization sequences for individual tools, ensuring all systems are safe to receive power
  • Generate, track, and systematically close out electrical punchlist items to achieve final system acceptance and handover.

Requirements

  • Here's what you'll need:
  • Education, Training, Credentials, and Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related technical discipline; or equivalent practical experience (e.g., journeyman electrician background with extensive industrial leadership).
  • 4+ years of project management or field engineering experience in large-scale industrial electrical construction.
  • Minimum 2 years of direct experience executing construction or tool install activities within an active semiconductor cleanroom environment.
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification is required; Certified Construction Manager (CCM) or initial CAPM/PMP certification is a plus.
  • Mandatory Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies
  • Solid understanding of industrial electrical installations, including rigid conduit bending, wire pulling, panelboard terminations, and grounding methods.
  • Practical familiarity with the National Electrical Code (NEC/NFPA 70) and fundamental electrical safety practices outlined in NFPA 70E.
  • Practical knowledge of cleanroom protocols (Class 10 to Class 1000) and tools required to prevent contamination during active construction drilling and cutting.
  • Proficiency in navigating and extracting data from digital information modeling viewers (e.g., Autodesk Navisworks) and project management software.
