About the role

Maxwell Energy Systems is a leading advanced electronics company accelerating the transition to electric mobility. Our products enable some of India's leading EV OEMs to build safer, smarter and more reliable electric vehicles. As we continue to scale, we are looking for a Strategic Sales Leader who can build long-term customer partnerships, drive business growth and lead commercial engagements with leading Automotive OEMs. Key Responsibilities: Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive business growth with Automotive OEMs and EV customers. Identify, engage and acquire new Automotive OEM customers while expanding business with existing strategic accounts. Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across OEM organizations including Business Heads, Engineering, Purchasing, Supply Chain and Leadership teams. Own the complete sales lifecycle from opportunity identification, customer engagement, RFQ management and commercial negotiations through business award and production ramp-up. Lead commercial discussions including pricing strategy, business case preparation, profitability analysis and contract negotiations. Drive revenue growth, order book expansion and and profitability through effective commercial strategy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer requirements and ensure successful program execution. Represent the voice of the customer internally by driving alignment across Product, Engineering, Quality and Operations. Identify emerging market opportunities, competitive trends and customer needs to shape growth strategies. Represent Maxwell at industry forums, customer events and technology conferences to strengthen brand presence and build strategic partnerships. Must-Have Requirements: 12-15 years of experience in Strategic Sales, Business Development, or Key Account Management within Automotive Tier-1 companies. Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering; MBA preferred. Proven track record of managing OEM relationships, winning new business, and achieving revenue growth. Strong understanding of Automotive OEM sales processes, including RFQs, commercial negotiations, and sourcing cycles. Excellent commercial acumen, stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills. Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment. Willingness to travel based on business needs. Nice to have: Experience in automotive electronics, EV systems, power electronics, or related technologies. Understanding of Advanced Electronics in APAC and EU. Location: Bangalore(On-site)
