WHY THIS ROLE IS IMPORTANT TO US In SimCorp, we assist some of the biggest financial institutions in the world to be efficient by simplifying their investments, accounting, and operations. We do this through IT systems, processes, financial knowledge but also through offering Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS), Software as a Service (SaaS) and Business Service. Principal Project Manager will be responsible for all aspects of the implementation projects with primary focus on high complexity projects/programs and clients in terms of client engagement, resource and financial management, and stakeholder complexity. They will lead project execution with a focus on providing greater customer value and outcomes while better measuring and reducing risk for SimCorp. What you will be responsible for Lead the execution of complex projects, ensuring alignment with business goals, client expectations, and organizational objectives Develop and manage detailed project plans, including resource allocation, budgets, timelines, and milestones Coordinate and manage cross-functional teams, ensuring that all project tasks are executed efficiently and effectively Oversee the identification and management of project risks, developing mitigation strategies to keep projects on track Communicate regularly with stakeholders and senior leadership to provide updates on project status, risks, and issues Monitor and report on project performance using key metrics, making adjustments as necessary to ensure successful delivery Ensure that all project deliverables meet quality standards and are in line with client requirements Drive the continuous improvement of project management practices, implementing best practices and refining processes for optimal efficiency Provide leadership and mentorship to junior project managers, encouraging collaboration and sharing expertise to ensure successful project execution Ensure that project documentation is complete, accurate, and aligned with organizational standards What we value You have a thorough understanding of our clients' business processes across asset managers, fund managers, banks, insurance companies and pension plans. You have expertise in managing and delivering multi-stream projects in complex business settings. Further, you possess the following qualifications: Effective leadership skills and ability to motivate and engage employees Ability to build and develop solid customer relationships Ability to make sound decisions by pursuing ways to balance quality, cost, risk and resources Great time management and prioritization skills Effective planning, execution, and coordination skills Caring attitudes and the capacity to hear what others say Effective communication and presentation skills Expertise in negotiation, advocacy, and managing conflicts Fluency in English Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience PMI/Prince 2 or equivalent certification Readiness to travel to customer sites with flexibility to work from home or remote from our offices
