You will join our Advanced Manufacturing Field Services Team . As our new Automation Field Technician, you will work independently or with other engineers to configure, commission, and troubleshoot VFD's, PLC's, and HMI software for industrial controls, water, and wastewater projects. Your key tasks and responsibilities will be: Commission, troubleshoot, and modify PLC based control systems. Configure, calibrate, and commission instrumentation and analytical equipment Configure, commission, and troubleshoot Variable Frequency Drives and other motor control circuits Read and modify/update control, electrical, and P&ID drawings. Perform modifications to existing control systems Troubleshoot analog and digital circuits with the ability to troubleshoot to a device level with or without drawings and documentation. Configure, modify, and troubleshoot Operator Interface Terminals (OITs). Troubleshoot and modify SCADA software with remote assistance from controls engineers. Salary Transparency Statement At Ramboll, we are committed to fair and transparent compensation practices that support our people and our purpose of creating sustainable societies. The anticipated base salary range for this position is $60,000 to $80,000 per year. This range reflects the compensation we reasonably expect to offer at the time of posting. Actual compensation will vary based on factors such as location, skills, experience, education, and internal equity. Because we operate across multiple U.S. markets, pay may differ depending on the cost of labor in specific locations.
