Responsibilities
- Lead the review, validation, and approval of PPAP submissions (Level 2 and equivalent) across multiple programs

- Lead or participate in APQP and supplier readiness activities
- Ensure suppliers meet quality, timing, and industrialization requirements for new launches

- Support design and process changes impacting suppliers
- Supplier Industrialization & Continuous Improvement
- Validate supplier capabilities, capacity, and quality systems
- Support supplier readiness for serial production and ramp-up phases
- Apply Lean and continuous improvement methodologies to enhance supplier performance
- Lead or support Supplier Continuous Improvement Events (CIEs)
- Drive implementation and adherence to standard work and SQ processes
- Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, Engineering Technology, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality, Manufacturing Quality, or Supply Chain Engineering
- Strong expertise in PPAP, APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and change management processes
- Proven experience managing supplier quality in an OEM or automotive-like environment
- Ability to interpret engineering drawings, GD&T, and technical specifications
- Experience with supplier performance metrics and data analysis (PPM, OTD, etc.)
- Ability to travel up to 25%
Requirements
- Experience in automotive, heavy equipment, or industrial OEM environments
- Certification in Six Sigma (Green Belt or higher) or Quality Core Tools
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 / IATF 16949 standards
- Experience with QMS systems, supplier portals, and PPAP platforms
- Strong data analysis capabilities (Excel, Power BI, or similar tools)

- Work Environment
- Primarily office-based with regular interaction with manufacturing, engineering, and suppliers. Occasional travel may be required.
