Requirements

• 1.Expert knowledge and experience in:
• Pedagogical role of contemporary technological media in education across discipline s
• Critical media literacy approaches
• Foundational understanding of media education and its core tenets
• Basic technology platforms and media production skills
• How new media can be used in innovative ways to enhance learning
• 2.Experienced in digital technology as a master teacher/instructor in the Quebec educational system
• 3.Familiarity with the professional competencies specified by the Ministère de l'Éducation
• Other
• 1.Previous successful experience teaching similar course(s) at the undergraduate or graduate level.
• 2.Knowledge of the impact and proven record integrating pedagogical approaches anchored to equity, diversity and inclusion.
• 3.Familiarity using myCourses , ZOOM and other similar online platforms to facilitate quality teaching and learning experiences.
• 4.Familiarity teaching blended classes is an asset.
• 5.Familiarity with the application of a variety of digital teaching and learning tools.

• 1.Commitment to working with a team of committed and engaged instructors.
• 2.Must be available to attend course coordination and planning meeting minimum of 2 weeks in advance of course start date.
