How This Role Makes a Difference We are looking for a Community Clinical Research Educator II who is deeply passionate about promoting awareness and education of clinical research, and access to clinical trials., to diverse communities. This role is a field-based position within the Community Engagement department of Care Access, a global health research and clinical trials company. How You'll Make An Impact Future of Medicine Events Assist with the execution 3-4 large Future of Medicine screening events per month. Provide education about the Future of Medicine program, clinical research, and general information about participation in research studies. Perform the Informed Consent process with event attendees. Review all elements of the ICF with the participant and assess their understanding to ensure the protection of human participants in clinical research. Communication and Outreach Deliver clear, engaging presentations to both individuals and groups. Be well-versed in Care Access programs to be able to answer participant questions using effective communication tactics. Collaborate with internal Care Access teams to strategize and execute community engagement activities. Support the larger clinical research team, ensuring seamless transitions for participants interested in participating in clinical trials Interact in a positive, professional manner with participants, sponsor representatives, investigators and Care Access personnel and management Propose suggestions for improving Future of Medicine events based on managerial direction Provide support and knowledge sharing to more junior team members on the team The Expertise Required Demonstrated ability in networking, partnership building, and event organization. Proficiency in using modern technology for communication and data management. Strong understanding of participant confidentiality and ethical considerations in clinical research. Excellent organizational, project management, and problem-solving skills. Multilingual is a plus. Certifications/Licenses, Education, and Experience Minimum Education: Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience Minimum Experience: Minimum of 3-4 years of demonstrated clinical and/or education experience Proven track record of autonomous project initiation and completion Direct participant education or experience creating community networks and engaging and developing community partnerships are preferred. Healthcare credentialing and advanced scientific or public health education are strongly preferred Licenses: Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License (Valid / Authorized to Drive in Canada and the US) Must have and maintain safe driving record and submit to Motor Vehicle Record Check How We Work Together Location : Remote within the United States. Travel : This role requires up to 60% travel requirements further explained below. Length of travel will depend upon study requirements, staff needs, and company initiatives. Physical demands associated with this position Include : Comfortable with occasional extended periods of travel and desk work. Walking - 5%, Standing -10%, Sitting - 75%, Lifting up to 25 lbs and above head - The expected pay range for this role is $60,000 - $90,000 USD per year for full time team members.
