We are seeking a Storeroom Supervisor for our First Quality Tissue SE, LLC located in Anderson, SC. This position will be responsible for supervising, directing and coordinating the training and work of all the Storeroom personnel who maintain parts and materials for operation of the facility. Prepares work schedules, assigns work and oversees the progress of work assignments. Maintains a high level of inventory accuracy utilizing computer-based parts control system. Monitors and continuously improves KPI's and work processes. Primary responsibilities include: Promotes an action-oriented safety culture embracing safety as a core value, instilling and exemplifying a safety mindset for all team members resulting in an incident free workplace through maintaining individual accountability, positive reinforcement of safe behavior and managing accountability of related systems. Supervises, directs, coordinates and trains all Storeroom Personnel : Proactively and regularly develops and manages team members' performance and capabilities Secure and allocate resources appropriately to meet the needs of the operation including scheduling of crews and managing absences Shares knowledge with team members to promote a high skill level in the group Performs inventory control function s , utilizing material management best practices : M aintains accurate inventory levels by performing cycle counts M onitors and adjust ROP and Max inventory levels based on historical usage data Performs periodic review of inactive items for obsolescence Verifies quantities and descriptions of materials received and issued Monitor KPI's and develop/implement strategies to ensure goals are met or exceeded Develop s , maintai ns , and continuously improves Storeroom specific policies & procedures. Ensures organization and cleanliness of stores area including organization and safe storage of all stocked parts and materials. Ensures outbound shipments processed through the storeroom function are properly documented. Tracks and maintains warranty parts and the status of the application of warranty parts as related to specific equipment. Creates and approves requisitions for necessary parts and supplies within the EAM and SAP applications. The ideal candidate should possess the following: Bachelor's degree in a technical field or related field preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience. At least 5 years of supervisory experience required. At least 5 years of inventory management experience required. Strong leadership and communication skills Ability to work in a team-based environment Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills Familiarity with CMMS such as MP2, SAP, and/or EAM preferred. Advanced knowledge of technology, including: Mechanical and electrical parts, components, and consumables Part specifications and quality Advanced computer skills, proficiency with MS Office Ability to work a flexible schedule with little notice. Frequent standing/walking. Frequent bending, climbing, kneeling, and reaching overhead throughout shift. Occasional pushing and pulling with arms, legs, and body throughout shift. Occasional lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Frequent repetitive use of hands. Occasional simple/light firm/strong grasping with the hands.
