We are currently looking for Customers Procurement Manager based at Mumbai with details mentioned below. Let me tell you about the role! The Indirect Procurement Manager delivers procurement into a region / asset and is based in that region / asset. They ensure procurement activities, across are aligned to both procurement strategic objectives and business priorities. They have a deep understanding of and partner with the business to understand demand and challenge the business, to deliver step changes in 3rd party spend by applying innovative solutions and change management. They have good commercial competence to help in delivering secure optimal, compliant, and competitive, risk-managed procurement outcomes. They coordinate with relevant procurement/sourcing teams to deliver priorities, e.g. working with categories to comprehend and deliver category plans or working with S2C on sourcing for their region / asset. They balance business needs with category plans ensuring they are in alignment. They partner, collaborate, develop and support management of relationships with suppliers to the regional / asset in collaboration with the global category teams, ensuring local needs are met. They also work with their peers across procurement to understand and share established practices, making procurement more efficient and effective. The role will oversee Castrol India PU Indirect spend includes marketing, retail assets, professional services, real estate, facilities management, engineering & maintenance, CAPEX projects, travel & events etc. What will you deliver? Region / asset delivery: Procurement delivery - Delivers procurement performance that meet or exceeds relevant metrics, including those for safety and compliance. Delivers regional needs whilst also aligning to category plans - Consolidates demand plans for the business, ensuring category plans are aligned. Understands the local commercial landscape and market factors, aiding in the development of value-driven strategies. Undertakes supplier performance management or interventions, escalating to the relevant business partners or category teams, as needed, to ensure timely resolution and prevent leakage. Drives engagement and develops strategic partnerships with our contractors and suppliers Unlocks value in line with category management policy Team integration: Develop a unified "one team" culture by aligning procurement, internal business units, and external suppliers Build knowledge across the wider procurement organization to ensure delivery of their objectives Develops their technical capabilities and accelerator skills Cultivating a culture of psychological safety and bp values to drive collaboration and innovation, all while adhering to Castrol policies and procedures. Supplier & Stakeholder Management: Communicates impact fully using storytelling to align cross-functional partners, navigate conflict, and drive core priorities. Influences outcomes in complex, multi-cultural environments and virtual, cross-disciplinary settings.
