We are looking for a Senior Engineer AC/QC for the Quality & Product Governance department at Sartorius Stedim Biotech GmbH. In this role, Spectroscopy and Advanced Process Control are shaped to drive the strategic development of a key technology area - ranging from translating complex customer and compliance requirements into implementable solutions to the scientific representation and advancement of innovative approaches. This position is available for full-time. It is a hybrid role requiring some days on site at our headquarters in Göttingen or our site in Guxhagen with the opportunity to work some days remotely. Grow with us - Your Responsibilities Develop and take responsibility for the strategy of the technology area in alignment with Product and Technology Roadmaps, actively contributing to their further development Take on technical leadership for Spectroscopy and Advanced Process Control and translate customer , stakeholder , and compliance requirements into clear product backlog items with defined acceptance criteria Act as a central point of contact for product-related expertise and drive alignment with internal interfaces such as Product Management, Architecture, and UI/UX Evaluate the state of the art with regard to business potential and transfer relevant insights into research as well as technical or applied projects Manage and execute experiments , technical tasks , and work packages within the area of responsibility Support technical discussions in collaboration with customers and contribute expertise in a targeted manner Represent the company at customer engagements as well as at scientific and industry events Act as an internal key opinion leader , actively sharing knowledge and fostering the development of scientists within the team through coaching and mentoring What will convince us PhD with at least 5 years of experience or Master's degree with at least 7 years of relevant professional experience Demonstrated expertise with a proven track record (publications and patents) in at least one key technology area; active participation in internal and external expert groups Strong communication skills when working with different teams and stakeholders Strong customer focus with the ability to create added value beyond immediate requests and address long-term, including implicit, needs Experience in coaching and mentoring as well as the ability to support the targeted development of others Ability to build and strengthen stable, trust-based relationships across teams Structured problem-solving skills and solid decision-making ability based on relevant data and contextual understanding Team-oriented way of working with a focus on open communication, clear expectations, and a culture of growth and innovation Fluent English language skills
