- Assure best Quality of the manufactured products for satisfaction of Continental customers and support the achievement of the revenue target.- Implement robust process controls in managing Suppliers to prevent defects from entering the shopfloor (scrap, NCC, blocked stocks) to achieve the profit target. - Drives and coordinates with Suppliers to analyze material issues and implement preventive actions to reduce / eliminate SCB / cost deductions - Supports in the consolidation / coordination of the supplier related Non conformance Cost (NCC) thru SCB process or cost deduction thru RMA- Support Quality strategies to achieve the targets aligned with Company goals and objectives - Review past performances, perform risk assessment versus company goals and objectives. - Define key focus areas, measurables, targets and identify projects that will impact the achievement of SQM KPI's. - Deploy agreed SQM Quality strategy to all interested parties - Perform regular SWOT analysis on SQM processes to enable focus on areas for sustenance (ie. strength) and improvement (weakness)- Works w/ SQM CI for successful handover of projects from New product introduction to Series Production - Actively participate in Continental / supplier workshop / trainings to gain understanding of New industry technologies - Supports supplier audit for New business/product/technology when necessary- Execute the consequent supplier management activities to track any quality deviations (zero tolerance for defects) - Drive root cause analysis and enforce the definition and implementation of appropriate counter measures at the supplier to ensure that the parts and services meet the defined quality requirementsSupplier Strategy / Quality Management > Implement the preferred supplier and component strategy > Initiate, lead and drive supplier improvement programs > Define targets and control measures with the supplier in alignment with the SQM business and quality targetsReporting >Use and support the data system to collect and evaluate supplier quality related key performance indicators (KPI's) and issue periodical quality performance reports and ensure that appropriate improvement actions are initiated >Contribute to the supplier quality related report in the plant (KPI driven) > Continuous tracking of the target setting and plan fulfillment (monitoring, analysis control) in the context of Supplier Quality Management System > Coordinate collection of the supplier related quality related costs (SCB)Audits >Perform process audits (maintenance and nonconformance) for the plant as planned and scheduled >Secure implementation and compliance to IATF and VDA standards >Lessons learned & read acrossMaintain and expand the business partnership with customers, suppliers and other interested parties. - Understand customer requirements and deliver accordingly - Ensures Continental Quality requirements are clearly understood by Supplier and complied during series production - Collaborate with Business Area / SQM Category / Central Function management during Supplier escalation if necessary (i.e. Red Alert, Early Warning, CSL) '- Actualize Skill Needs Assessment (SNA) / Competency Assessment defined towards the desired competency level - Regularly reviews and improves the SNA / Competency Assessment- Engaging and directing the organization towards Quality First Mindset in a multicultural environment - Develop, maintain and implement effective Quality solutions to meet customer expectation - Support Quality programs like Quality Month, Quality Basic Training, Quality Awards, Suppliers Week, etc - Provide Support to IQA by being partner in issue resolution and KPI achievement- Promote Core Values and Malasakit culture through active involvement in Company activities - Supports Malasakit activities - Participate in CSR and GWP activities- Perform other tasks that may be assigned by the Supervisor Bachelor Science of Engineering: Electrical, Electronics and Communications, Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial, Computer, Materialsa) Knowledgeable in Quality Management System b) Working experience in any Mechanical Manufacturing industry (i.e. PCB, Stamping, Casting, Cable, Plastic Mechatronics, Rubber)a) Experience in manufacturing and component introduction procesess. b) Project issues and problem resolution experience c) Risk assessment involvement a) Experience in leading and developing people. b) Capable in handling and communicating with Suppliers and customers c) Collaborates effectivelya) Experience in working with people of different cultures b) Can communicate effectively Competencies: Quality Management Systems - Knowledge in automotive QMS (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3), international industry standards and local & coporate QMS.
