Financial Controller - Morgan McKinley

About the role

Reporting to the Managing Director, this role will manage and lead the Finance team and function, and will be a member of the Senior Leadership Team, with an opportunity to get involved in strategy. Responsibilities will include: Financial reporting and regular cashflow forecasts Lead and develop the finance team Oversee the month-end process and ensure strong internal controls are in place Prepare annual budgets and monthly forecasts Statutory reporting and support for year end audit process Manage cash and account for inventory, stock and assets Lead key projects, and participate in producing and implementing the 3-year business plan The Person The successful candidate will be a Qualified Accountant with the ability to convey financial information clearly to senior stakeholders and non-finance people. You will have previous experience of leading a small finance team, and enjoy a hands-on financial management role where you can drive financial performance while also supporting strategy as part of the SLT. This role requires you to be in the office 4 days per week with some occasional travel.
