Urgent!!! Quality Director (HMLW, Manufacturing)

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in driving Integrated Quality initiatives across the Singapore facility.
• Lead internal audits of products, processes, and procedures, and drive corrective and preventive actions as needed.
• Review and sign off on project documentation to ensure alignment with quality and compliance standards.
• Manage customer-driven change management and qualification activities in support of the facility's operational growth. Oversee product acceptance testing and contribute to the development and rollout of quality plans and supporting technical documentation.
• Build, maintain, and continuously refine quality standards, procedures, and control systems, while developing and sustaining governance frameworks for quality control.
• Drive the creation and rollout of inspection, testing, and evaluation methods to safeguard product accuracy, precision, and reliability.
• Identify and implement corrective actions to maintain compliance with quality specifications.
• Lead, mentor, and develop team members to strengthen operational capabilities and drive excellence.
• Support broader continuous improvement efforts aimed at boosting productivity, elevating quality, cutting waste, reducing errors, and optimizing costs.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or other related discipline
• At least 10 years of experience in Quality and/or Engineering functions, including at least 5 years in a leadership or management capacity
• Experience with metrology and inspection techniques, with the ability to interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Experience in high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environments, including machining, casting, precision metal stamping, and fabrication processes
• Experience using SAP or equivalent ERP systems for quality management processes
• Knowledge and practical application of 8D problem-solving methodology
