Electrical Engineer

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom‑based electrical engineering instruction
• Support learners through theory, problem‑solving, and practical understanding
• Assess learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Continuously develop your own instructional and technical skills
• Contribute to a professional, supportive learning environment
• You'll be fully trained and supported to succeed as an instructor - we'll teach you how to teach.
• Who we're looking for
• We welcome applications from:
• Graduate Electrical Engineers
• Time‑served electricians or electrical engineers
• Engineers from industrial, manufacturing, defence, utilities, or maintenance backgrounds
• If you can explain electrical principles clearly and want to pass on your knowledge, we can train you for the rest.
• This role is offered on a term time basis working 45 weeks per year, with non-working weeks taken 2 weeks at Christmas and Easter and 3 weeks in August. The salary will therefore be pro rata'd and calculated to include contractual annual leave entitlement and bank holidays.
