Location Asquith, NSW, Australia Role Purpose The Disability Support Worker role at CPA exists to provide high-quality, person-centered support to people with disabilities. You will play a vital role in empowering clients to live as independently as possible, by helping them to achieve their goals and supporting their day-to-day wellbeing, dignity and quality of life. About the Clients: At CPA, our SIL houses typically accommodate between 3-6 clients. Clients can range in age from their early 20s through to more mature-aged clients. Individuals living in CPA group homes may have a variety of disabilities, including but not limited to Cerebral Palsy, Autism, Down syndrome, and other intellectual or physical disabilities. Clients may also present with differing levels of medical needs and behaviours, requiring varying levels of support. Role Overview We are looking for a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our Accommodation and Respite service at our Asquith group home . This is a Permanent Part-Time opportunity , offering approximately 25 - 30 hours per week across a variety of shifts, including morning, day, evening, and awake night shifts . As a Disability Support Worker (DSW) in a CPA SIL home, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to clients in a domestic setting, helping them live as independently as possible while supporting their individual needs, choices, and goals.
