Sheet Metal Fabrication Welder

Requirements

• Minimum of three years of MIG welding experience in a fabrication, manufacturing, or industrial environment
• Experience welding light-gauge sheet metal ranging from approximately .060" to 1/4" thickness
• Ability to read and understand blueprints, fabrication drawings, and welding symbols
• Strong focus on accuracy, quality, and attention to detail
• Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively within a production team

MIG Welder Location: Newport News, VA Schedule: Monday-Friday | 1st Shift Pay Rate: Starting at $18.00/hour (higher compensation available based on experience and skill level) Position Overview A Precision Mig Welder will Fit and Weld sheet metal parts to the specifications of each job and ensure they meet the outlined requirements. Specifications are gathered from work orders, customer drawings, sample parts, and/or completed assemblies.
