Responsibilities

- Assesses training needs of the hospice staff and coordinates staff development programs, including orientation, in-service and certificate programs for the professional and nonprofessional nursing staff, to ensure a strong, effective and efficient team
- Participates in quality improvement reviews especially related to the evaluation of nursing and contracted services. Make recommendations for improving and enhancing the overall functioning of the Hospice
- Coordinates and ensures accurate and up-to-date information management system for the Hospice
- Implements effective risk management and quality improvement programs, including infection control, occupational health and safety, incident management.

- Works collaboratively with the other Managers in Yee Hong LTC
- Keeps up-to-date with developments and best practices in the field of palliative and hospice care
- Participates on committees and special projects and other duties as assigned.
