POSITION SUMMARY Oversee the operational functions and activities for numerous outlying automotive distribution warehouses within a specific region. Manage large projects such as warehouse moves, additions and set up of new acquisitions. Provide leadership necessary to achieve high levels of associate and customer engagement, and operational efficiency. This position will require travel throughout assigned region and outside as needed. Home warehouse will be identified within the South East Region. Ability to communicate in both English and Spanish is preferred but not required. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Oversee regional warehouse operations to deliver and maintain outstanding customer service Manage and participate in business acquisitions, warehouse moves, and special projects Manage activities related to dispatching, routing, receiving, picking, inventory, and returns of warehouse operations to determine equipment, facilities and staffing needs Maintain a current knowledge level of new concepts, techniques, and technologies related to our processes, products, and services to support continuous improvement efforts encompassing identified best practices Monitor operations to ensure that staff members comply with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules and government regulations Review and manage safety and loss prevention programs Mentor and develop associates Travel required 50%-75% of the time
