Design Engineer - Processes (Isolator & Cleanroom Systems)

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and technically driven Design Engineer to support the successful execution of customer-specific projects within our isolator and pharmaceutical process business. In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to deliver high-quality, compliant, and tailored engineering solutions. Manage customer orders with a high degree of customization, based on defined concepts and engineering standards Coordinate and clarify interfaces between upstream/downstream equipment and customer systems Develop and implement customised isolator and pharmaceutical process solutions Perform ventilation-related calculations, including airflow and H₂O₂ distribution Create and maintain technical documentation, with a focus on functional flow diagrams (VFF) Conduct risk assessments and support the resolution of technical issues and customer complaints Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders, external partners, and customers throughout the project lifecycle Preparation of process flow diagrams and execution of calculations Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, HVAC, or a related discipline Solid knowledge of cleanroom technology and GMP requirements within the pharmaceutical industry Initial professional experience in a comparable environment is advantageous Strong communication skills in both German and English Structured, independent, and solution-oriented working style Team-oriented mindset with flexibility and resilience Willingness to travel depending on project requirements Please note that we can only process your CV in English.
