Operations Manager (Construction)

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day construction operations and coordinate site activities to ensure smooth workflow and project progress
• Plan manpower and allocate resources effectively to meet project demands and optimize productivity
• Manage subcontractor performance by monitoring work quality and adherence to schedules
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards to maintain a safe and lawful work environment
• Monitor project progress regularly, identify and resolve operational issues to support timely project delivery
• Implement operational improvements that enhance productivity and reduce costs across construction sites
• Required competencies and certifications
• Degree in Construction, Engineering, or a related field
• 10 years of experience managing construction operations or site management
• Demonstrated leadership skills to guide teams and manage multiple sites effectively
• Proficient knowledge of safety regulations, workflow control, and site processes to ensure compliance and efficiency
• Preferred competencies and qualifications
• Strong planning and problem-solving skills to anticipate challenges and develop effective solutions
