About the role

You will serve as a DEFENSE CRITICAL INFRASTRUCTURE PROGRAM SPECIALIST within HEADQUARTERS US INDO-PACIFIC COMMAND. Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-12 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of Mission Assurance, Defense Critical Infrastructure, and National Infrastructure Protection Plan to recommend and specify policies and methods for enhancing efficiency of security programs through modifications and application of new techniques and evolving technology; 2) Planning and making recommendations to develop long range studies and requirements for security programs; 3) Evaluating and making recommending concerning overall plans and proposals for major agency and interagency risk mitigation projects; and 4) Applying knowledge of information assurance, cyber security, countering asymmetrical threats and hazards towards infrastructure and associated systems to advise leadership on vulnerabilities to mission-essential infrastructure and measures to assure the ability to use infrastructure as needed during peace, crisis, and war.
