Department Overview The Operational Excellence team drives continuous improvement, process standardization, and innovation across all domains of Fulfillment Center operations. We support local teams in implementing group standards, solving systemic challenges, and enabling sustainable growth. Role Overview As Operational Excellence Manager, you will own the design and delivery of a 3-6 month continuous improvement roadmap in your domain. You will lead adoption of group standards, embed best practices, and deliver sustainable improvements that directly impact customer experience, cost, and efficiency. You will partner with central and local stakeholders to identify bottlenecks, implement scalable solutions, and standardize processes across sites. What we expect from you Owns the continuous improvement roadmap, ensuring initiatives are delivered on time. Leads adoption of operational best practices through coaching and influence. Partners with group operations functions to coordinate projects and share knowledge. Provides input to innovation roadmaps, business cases, and process design. Supports rollout of group projects, owning selected initiatives end-to-end. Tracks and analyzes performance metrics to identify root causes and standardize fixes. Documents processes (VSM, process maps) and develops change documentation. What we look for Required Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. 3+ years of operational experience with ownership of projects or programs. Strong leadership and coaching capability. Excellent communication and stakeholder management. Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills. Advanced skills in Excel, Tableau, Metabase, or Access. Project management experience. Willingness to travel 2-3 days per week across sites. Preferred Background in e-commerce, grocery, JIT or same-day delivery. Six Sigma and/or project management certification. Knowledge of SQL, BI tools, or statistical software.
