We are seeking an Associate Regulatory Specialist II to join our dynamic team based in Kraków. In this role, you will support import/export compliance data management, including classification, auditing, database management, process development / maintenance, training, reporting, and metrics. You will be aligned with Ecolab's Global Regulatory Affairs mission of supporting business growth and reducing risk of compliance gaps. How you'll make an impact: Determine and assign local classification of products based on the WCO Harmonized System - equipment and chemicals. Maintain and update the international and national classification codes upon revision of the customs tariff nomenclature. Monitor custom tariff developments and introduce appropriate changes within the region. Respond to inquiries regarding HS classification to ensure timely goods clearance. Support and advise the Divisions on custom tariffs issues in the region. Manage and coordinate activities and requests related to HS codes with external partners. Manages Explosive Precursors requirements for the region. Manages drug precursors requirements for the region, including applying for licenses. Manages PIC requirements for the region, including applying for licenses. Complete Chemical Weapon Convention classification for equipment and chemicals. Complete ECCN or dual use import/export control classification for equipment and chemicals. Monitors blocks in GTS/NSAP related to the regulations within the scope of responsibilities Participates on projects lead by Trade Compliance or by markets/divisions where customs acts as enforcement authority (CBAM, EUDR, Plastic requirements, etc.) Interface with operational groups to gather and report compliance data. Maintain and review trade compliance with record keeping per policy. Perform internal compliance audits (import/export). Provide metrics on internal audits. Regulatory Intelligence gathering in Europe SOP development and maintenance. Support SAP implementation.
