Job Description: Essential Job Functions: - Incident Detection and Analysis: Monitor security alerts and logs to identify potential security incidents and assess their impact. - Incident Triage and Prioritization: Evaluate the severity and urgency of incidents to prioritize response efforts effectively. - Containment and Mitigation: Implement strategies to contain and mitigate the impact of security incidents, preventing further damage. - Root Cause Analysis: Conduct thorough investigations to determine the root cause of incidents and develop strategies to prevent recurrence. - Communication and Coordination: Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to coordinate response efforts and communicate incident status and updates. - Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of incidents, actions taken, and outcomes for future reference and compliance purposes. - Post-Incident Review and Improvement: Lead post-incident reviews to identify lessons learned and recommend improvements to incident response processes. - Threat Intelligence Integration: Utilize threat intelligence to enhance detection capabilities and anticipate potential security threats. - Training and Awareness: Develop and deliver training programs to enhance the incident response skills of team members and raise security awareness across the organization. - Compliance and Policy Adherence: Ensure that incident response activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and organizational policies. The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $86,100.00 - $170,500.00 per year.
