Construction Site Vector Control Technician / Worker (Main Contractor / Projects)

About the role

Our client is a reputable BCA-registered General Builder involved in public housing, upgrading, and building projects across Singapore. They are seeking dedicated and responsible individuals to support vector control and environmental management activities across project sites, ensuring compliance with NEA and project requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine inspections to identify and eliminate mosquito breeding habitats within construction sites.
• Perform vector control measures including larviciding, treatment, and preventive actions in accordance with NEA guidelines.
• Monitor site housekeeping and environmental conditions to maintain compliance with vector control requirements.
• Conduct regular checks on drains, water collection points, containers, and other potential breeding areas.
• Assist in implementing corrective actions following site inspections and audits.
• Maintain records of inspections, treatments, and vector control activities.
• Coordinate with site management teams on environmental control measures.
• Ensure compliance with workplace safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Experience in vector control, pest control, environmental services, construction housekeeping, or related field preferred.
• NEA Vector Control Technician certification will be an advantage.
• Candidates without direct experience but willing to undergo training are welcome to apply.
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors.
• Responsible, diligent, and able to work independently.
• Familiar with construction site environments will be an advantage.
