Act as the case manager for assigned ABA cases under the guidance of the ABA Supervisor (BCBA) by applying knowledge in behavior and leveraging Cortica's Whole Child Approach to coordinate and oversee client care, developing individualized treatment plans, overseeing implementation of those treatment plans, monitoring client progress, adjusting and revising treatment plans as needed, providing support to clients and their families, and holding BTs accountable to ensure adherence to treatment protocols and guidelines. Utilize clinical knowledge of behavioral principles to serve as the primary contact for the parent/guardian in each ABA case, educating and guiding families through progress reports, treatment goals, ABA assessments, and addressing questions as they arise. In collaboration with the supervising ABA Supervisor (BCBA), complete all written reports in a timely fashion as necessitated by payor and Cortica requirements, drawing on behavioral assessment and clinical observation and documentation methods. Ensure authorization/contract fulfillment takes place by utilizing the authorized supervision and parent supervision for each client month over month. Provide direct clinical supervision over BTs and with clients and meet productivity expectations for completing billable activities month over month (e.g. Re-assessments, Supervision, Parent Training, direct 1:1 ABA, etc.). Modify treatment protocols in real-time during sessions based on observed client responsiveness, knowledge of ABA techniques, and behavioral data. Adjust reinforcement schedules, prompting strategies, task complexity, and behavior intervention plans (BIPs) as clinically appropriate to ensure optimal progress and safety. Schedule supervisions in such a way as to meet the required billable hour expectation for the role by the assigned due date, meeting with the direct supervisor regularly to review scheduled hours and ensure optimization of all supervision and parent training hours for the patients on caseload. Provide clinical supervision to BTs in accordance with Cortica's supervision requirements, drawing on advanced learning in behavior analysis to set clinical goals, monitor progress on development plans, and offer regular feedback and coaching to BTs. Mentor and train BTs which may include assisting with training tasks as needed, including measuring clinical fidelity in the field. Monitor, oversee, evaluate and assess BT performance and effectiveness, and guide the team of BTs towards excellent client care. Utilize session-level data to make timely and evidence-based decisions about treatment intensity, instructional methods, and goal advancement. Adjust teaching strategies and session structure in response to the client's learning rate and engagement patterns to ensure continued progress and clinical relevance. Accompany BTs who work on one of your assigned cases to their first session with new clients and attend community outings along with the BT for new locations. Complete session notes and "convert" billable appointments within CentralReach during the billable session time. For times when client safety requires the note to be completed outside of the session time, notes will be completed and appointments converted by the end of the workday. Oversee and review all BT documentation, including auditing session notes of assigned POD and/or assigned direct cases in line with BACB requirements.
