Purpose of the Job To manage one or more Material Groups for the Region in order focus to these area due to the growing complexity and size of spend in the of particular Categories in the Region To bring specific focus to B & C Materials across the whole of the assigned Categories To develops specific Procurement Strategies for the respective Material Groups in order to meet all of the required KPI targets To provide support for all countries in the Region to Manage suppliers and inbound supply chains relating to the assigned Material Groups To supports the assigned Category Managers (within whom's Categories the Materials Groups sit) with data analysis __________________________________________________________ Main function/responsibility/competencies Manages one or more Material Groups for the Region in line with over-arching Category Strategies and to bring specific focus to "B" and "C" Materials across the assigned Categories Develops specific Procurement Strategies for the respective Material Groups in order to minimise raw material cost development Identifies savings opportunities within the respective Material Groups, initiating and managing projects to realize those savings Develops risk mitigation plans for all high risk Materials within the assigned Material Groups Develops plan for the Material Groups to meet all other KPIs such as sustainability and supplier audit Supports the assigned Category Managers with data analysis relating to costs, feedstock, marco economic trends etc Work closely with the country procurement teams to support with supplier and supply chain issues Responsible for achievement of regional Material Group targets and in alignment with the respective target market strategies.Self contained realization of strategic projects and targets. Assures compliance and ethical standards with applicable laws, Sika's Procurement Manual and Sika Code of Conduct.
