The Role We are seeking to appoint a Lecturer or Senior Lecturer in Occupational Therapy on a full or part time basis, to strengthen our academic and teaching provision. You will join a forward-thinking team of academics and practitioners committed to interdisciplinary collaboration, high-quality education, and excellence in professional practice. You will provide expertise in occupational therapy and contribute to the broader curriculum across our portfolio as appropriate. We are interested in practitioners with experience in working with older adults in areas such as falls and dementia, neurology, and mental health. Furthermore, we are interested in those with experience in academia who may be looking for a new challenge in an evolving team with the opportunity for development and impact. Key responsibilities will include Delivering teaching that encompasses employer and skills-led experiential learning and professional development Engaging in high-quality teaching and learning, supporting an excellent student experience Contributing to curriculum development to ensure our education portfolio is innovative, attractive, and supports students from induction to employment. Contributing to practice based learning and clinical placement provision to ensure learners are fit for professional practice in their field, utilising external networks. The successful candidate will have skills and experience in A demonstrable commitment to research-led or informed teaching. Effective planning and delivery skills in high-quality, supportive teaching. A strong understanding of disciplines closely aligned with Occupational Therapy. Professional accreditation with HCPC.
