  • Completion of JRCERT accredited Military Educational Program is accepted in lieu of other educational requirements.

Position Title: MRI Technologist - PRN Department: Adult MRI Job Description: Ask your recruiter about our new market leading rates! **PRN POSITIONS REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 2 SHIFTS A MONTH** General Description: The MRI Technologist performs routine MRI examinations in accordance with established protocols, safety guidelines, and quality standards. Essential Responsibilities: Responsibilities listed in this section are core to the position. Inability to perform these responsibilities, with or without an accommodation, may result in disqualification from the position. Utilizing working knowledge, developing expertise, and available resources, provides safe, high‑quality, efficient, and patient‑centered care and support services under routine or emergent conditions. Functions with increased independence and clinical judgment across diverse care settings. Prepares patients for procedures and correlates clinical history with physician‑ordered exams to support appropriate imaging. Safely administers contrast per protocol Demonstrates the ability to recognize basic imaging artifacts and implement corrective measures independently or under guidance. Effectively communicates and collaborates with patients, families, and the care team to support desired clinical outcomes and service standards. Accurately transfers images and associated data to designated systems, completes basic technical documentation, and prepares studies for physician reporting. Carries out operator‑level quality control checks, cleaning, high‑level disinfection, and basic equipment maintenance per manufacturer instructions and regulatory requirements. Accurately document in EMR/PACS Actively participates in continuing education, professional development, and research initiatives to maintain competencies and advance quality of care and treatment practices. Supports inventory tasks as needed to help ensure supplies are available. General Responsibilities: Performs other duties as assigned.
