Business Intelligence Architect

About the role

We are seeking a seasoned BI Architect to design, build, and lead enterprise-grade business intelligence solutions. This role requires deep technical expertise, hands-on development capabilities, and a strong understanding of Oracle EBS ecosystems. The BI Architect will play a critical role in enabling data-driven decision-making, working closely with business stakeholders while leading the architecture and delivery of scalable BI platforms.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end BI solution delivery, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, development, testing, and production support
• Architect and implement data pipelines, semantic layers, and enterprise reporting frameworks
• Translate business requirements into actionable insights, KPIs, and performance dashboards
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to enable effective, data-driven decision-making
• Design and deliver dashboards and reports using:
• Oracle Analytics Server (OAS)
• Tableau
• Microsoft Power BI
• SAP BusinessObjects
• Build and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines using Informatica and Python
• Apply AI-assisted (vibe coding) techniques to enhance pipeline development and automation
• Define and enforce BI standards, best practices, and governance frameworks
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail and timelines
• Ensure data accuracy, scalability, and performance optimization across BI systems
• Provide mentorship and technical guidance to junior BI developers
• Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and innovation
• What qualifications will you need to be successful?
• 8-10 years of hands-on BI/DW experience
• Strong ETL design expertise - Informatica and Python (pandas, PySpark, etc.)
• Advanced PL/SQL - stored procedures, performance tuning, complex transformations
• Proficiency across OAS, Tableau, Power BI, and SAP BusinessObjects
• Hands-on experience with vibe coding for pipeline development and automation
• Functional knowledge of Oracle EBS modules (GL, AP, AR, OM, INV, or similar)
• Strong communication - ability to bridge business and technical teams
• Self-starter with ability to work independently in ambiguous environments
• Mentorship mindset for junior BI developers
