Position Overview: ANSER is seeking a Force Protection Planner to support enterprise-wide operational effectiveness with a focus on Force Protection within the Fleet Marine Force. In this role, you will provide oversight, planning, and advocacy for Military Police and Force Protection capabilities to ensure effective protection of personnel, infrastructure, and critical assets across operational environments. This position directly supports MARFORPAC and operational forces through the development, integration, and execution of Force Protection programs. The role includes planning and implementing protection requirements within USPACOM OPLANS/CONPLANS to ensure the security of Department of Defense personnel and resources across the full spectrum of military operations in support of U.S. national interests. Day-to-Day Responsibilities: Coordinate with Service Headquarters to provide Military Police and Force Protection input into policy development, assessments (e.g., IGMC), and service-level planning efforts Develop, integrate, and manage Force Protection planning requirements within USPACOM OPLANS/CONPLANS Support the development, staffing, and implementation of USMC service-wide Force Protection policies, programs, and procedures Manage and evaluate Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) supporting Detainee Operations, Identity Operations, Joint Security Operations, and INDOPACOM Homeland Defense Deliver integrated protection program planning, analysis, and execution support for MARFORPAC and operational forces Conduct research and provide analytical support for Force Protection initiatives, including ad hoc subject matter expertise for training events and operational planning efforts Develop Mission Assurance, Force Protection, and security briefings, guidance, and supporting documentation Manage security programs, including site surveys, documentation review/approval, and compliance monitoring Support protection activities for MARFORPAC, INDOPACOM, and gained forces across operational environments Produce required deliverables, including: Trend analysis and assessments (e.g., WRSAI) Draft reports and documentation (e.g., after-action reports, trip reports) Briefings (e.g., in-briefs and out-briefs for assessments) Meeting minutes and staff coordination materials Staff packages and Statements of Support (SOS) for specific issues AMHS messages and official communications Drafting and updating Inspector General (IG) checklists Required Qualifications: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility Bachelor's degree 4+ years of experience in Force Protection, Mission Assurance, or physical security Demonstrated understanding of national-level security processes and programs, including Defense Critical Infrastructure (DCI), Task Critical Assets (TCA), Critical Asset Protection (CAP), and SCI standards Experience with clearance processing, physical security programs, and document control procedures
