About the role
We are looking for a Site-based Electrical Engineer for underground M&E projects, responsible for supervising sub-contractor work and ensuring compliance with electrical design specifications.
Responsibilities
- Monitor and supervise sub-contractors' work progression per shop drawings, method statements, materials, and samples
- Liaise with relevant authorities, sub-contractors, main contractor, and clients
- Review and align electrical design drawings for compliance with specifications and guidelines
- Identify discrepancies between M&E, structural, ID, architectural, and client provisions
- Manage and execute project per deadline
- Attend meetings with subcontractors, contractors, and clients to address issues and update progress
- Study and review drawings and specifications for compliance
- Allocate work and ensure delivery within standards and SOP
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering
- Good knowledge of M&E specifications and requirements
- Calculation, BIM, Revit, AutoCAD would be an advantage
- Good working attitude and team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Candidates with 8+ years relevant experience will be considered for Senior position
- Work Arrangements
- Work hours: 5.5 days. Mon-Fri 8.30am-5.30pm, Sat 8.30am-12.30pm
