To support this mission, Syngenta's Finance Operations team is seeking a Accounting to Reporting Senior Analyst in Montevideo, Uruguay. Accountabilities Accountable for preparing local Financial Statements. Focal point for local external audit process. Key interlocutor between external auditors and Syngenta´s teams. Own the monthly close variance analysis to ensure accurate IFRS Financial Statements reporting to Headquarter. Collaborate with Finance organization to ensure account balances are accurate and properly substantiated, acting as a key point of contact to drive timely resolution of outstanding items. Perform profit analysis for true up / true down calculation and active participation in other Transfer Price related activities. Prepare and present several reports to local authorities based on financial information and within deadlines. Serve as the primary ATR point of contact for business stakeholders, building strong and trusted relationships to support decision-making and contribute to ad hoc projects and initiatives as needed. Work closely with the broader ATR team and other AFO functions. Contribute to a high level of financial compliance. Actively contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives within the ATR team. Required Bachelor's degree in accounting or similar. Good working knowledge of IFRS. Working experience on financial areas. Analytic skills, dynamic, team working, organized and attentive to deadlines. High communication skills and stakeholder management. Ability to work under pressure while keeping high quality of output. Intermediate/advanced level of English. Microsoft Excel advanced knowledge. Desired Experience with SAP will be highly valuable (desirable). Knowledge of Financial Reporting requirements, Financial Frameworks, and other relevant policies and procedures. Experience in Accounting/Reporting on Multinational or Big 4 companies or External Audit areas.
