AECOM is seeking a Senior Estimator to work on a hybrid basis in our Sacramento, CA Office . JOB SUMMARY This role will be responsible for developing detailed and accurate cost estimates as part of the Project Controls & Project Financial Office for the California High-Speed Rail Program. The role functions as an integral team member, contributing to the planning and execution of cost estimation activities to support program goals and financial oversight under the general direction of the Estimating Manager. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES Develop capital cost estimates across all project phases, from planning and conceptual design to final design and construction. Facilitate the coordination and collection of information from internal departments and external stakeholders to support accurate cost estimation. Contribute to the development of capital cost estimates for key program deliverables, including the bi-annual Programmatic Business Plan, Program Baselines, and Project Update Reports. Review and analyze contractor-submitted estimates and claims to ensure accuracy, consistency, and alignment with program standards. Assist in creating and maintaining policies, procedures, and standards for program-wide cost estimating practices. Collaborate with the Estimating Manager and Project Controls team to ensure alignment between scope, schedule, and cost. Maintain cost estimate documentation and support audits, reporting, and oversight functions. Participate in process improvement efforts to enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and transparency of cost estimating activities. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS BA/BS + 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
