About the role
As HR Manager, you'll own day-to-day HR operations for our UK team and act as the first point of contact for managers and staff across other locations. - Work with the CEO to roll out people initiatives and track basic HR metrics.
- Coordinate with external providers for benefits, payroll, and compliance support
Requirements
- 5+ years in HR generalist/manager roles, ideally in a fast-growing SME.
- Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice.
- Experience managing recruitment, ER cases, and performance processes end-to-end.
- CIPD Level 5/7 or equivalent preferred, but practical experience matters more.
- Comfortable working hands-on in systems, spreadsheets, and HRIS tools.
- Practical, no-nonsense approach - you balance compliance with commercial reality.
- High integrity, strong communication, and cultural sensitivity for working with a diverse team
