  • Requirements and Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree in higher education administration, special education, rehabilitation counseling, human services, or other relevant discipline preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in an academic environment
  • Familiarity with the application of Section 504 and the ADA in the higher education setting, and ability to recognize and understand regulatory requirements associated with disability and accommodation issues
  • Ability to interpret to interpret, medical, psychological, neuropsychological and educational documentation
  • Familiarity with assistive technologies and their application to students with disabilities in higher education preferred
  • Excellent judgment and discretion in managing confidential information
  • Ability to enthusiastically support and interact with people of diverse ages, backgrounds, experiences, and personality types
  • Demonstrated organizational skills and careful attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to balance collaborative and independent work
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, Google Suite, and Adobe
