Responsibilities
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements (including IT services agreements, statements of work, RFP/RFI documentation, NDAs, vendor contracts and marketing agreements).

- Key Competencies
- Qualified solicitor in England & Wales with 3-5 years' PQE.
- Strong experience in commercial contract drafting and negotiation, particularly with technology services contracts.
- Good working knowledge of data protection and information security-related regulatory frameworks (including GDPR).
- Experience with UK public sector contracts and cross-border matters is desirable.
- High‑quality drafting capability and strong technical ability.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; professional in interactions with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to explain legal issues clearly to non‑legal stakeholders and comfortable leading negotiations with external parties.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Confident working independently and collaboratively.
- Proactive, with the ability to identify legal risks and opportunities, take ownership of issues through to resolution and drive improvements to legal processes and templates.
- Good organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Additional European languages are an advantage but not essential.

We are seeking a 3-5 years' PQE solicitor qualified in England & Wales, to join our in‑house legal team as Legal Counsel. The role will involve providing clear, pragmatic advice across a range of technology and commercial matters, as well as managing a broad range of other legal matters (including data protection, compliance and employment matters). The successful candidate will proactively contribute to the improvement of legal processes and templates. You will work closely with stakeholders across the business to deliver legally-robust and commercially-focused solutions which support business objectives while appropriately managing risk. The role primarily supports UK operations, with exposure to wider European activities (including France and Germany) and requires the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
