The Lead, Technical Accounting plays a key role in assessing the impacts of significant and unusual transactions and in preparing quarterly and annual financial statements. This role ensures continued compliance with accounting standards and regulations, while supporting leadership and auditors with technical accounting insights. You will contribute to our team by: Technical Accounting & Reporting Advise on technical accounting matters and prepare supporting memos on an ad-hoc basis Monitor technical accounting issues and communicate updates to auditors and senior management quarterly Prepare the indirect cash flow statement and supporting working papers quarterly and annually Prepare Adjusted Funds from Operations (AFFO) and advise on transaction impacts Prepare or review financial statement notes and supporting documentation Standards & Compliance Monitor IFRS developments and prepare quarterly summaries for the Audit Committee Prepare IFRS disclosure checklists to support financial statement reporting Perform SOX controls as required What you will bring to the role: Education Post-secondary degree in Business, Finance, or Accounting Professional accounting designation Experience working with IFRS
