About the role

We are looking for a Manager, People (APAC & EMEA) who is not just experienced, but genuinely passionate about building people functions that work, This is a hands-on, high- ownership role for someone who has been in the trenches of building HR from the ground up ideally in a fast-moving, high-growth technology environment and who knows what it takes to create structure, clarity and consistency without losing the human touch along the way. You will be reporting to the Senior Director, People and will be the engine behind our People team across the region executing with precision, consistency and care while our People leaders set the strategy and roadmap. From managing day-to-day HR operations, maintaining our systems and data, supporting employee lifecycle processes, and ensuring our policies are consistently applied across countries you will be the person our employees and leaders rely on to keep things running smoothly and professionally. This is not a behind-the-scenes role but a hybrid arrangement with a minimum of 2 days per week in the office close enough to collaborate meaningfully with the India team and will be a visible, trusted and valued member of the People team, the person who bridges strategy and execution, and who makes our people feel the difference every single day.
Responsibilities
- Own and manage the full employee lifecycle across APAC and EMEA from onboarding to offboarding and everything in between.
- Be the go-to person for employees across both regions.
- Ensure every people process we run is compliant, consistent and built to scale no matter which country, which team or which time zone
- Partner with senior People leaders to evaluate, select and implement the HR systems and tools that will power our people function.
- Ensure data integrity, reporting accuracy and system adoption across all people/HR Platforms.
- Design, implement and maintain people/HR policies that are locally compliant, globally aligned and employee friendly.
- Keep every country in our region current proactively tracking labour law changes and updating our practices before they become a problem.
- Be our regional expert the person who knows the nuances, flags the risks and keeps us one step ahead.
- Identify gaps and inconsistencies across people processes globally and build frameworks that bring everything into alignment.
- Lead and deliver people process improvement initiatives creating order, clarity and consistency at scale.
- Champion a great employee experience at every stage of the journey from day one through to career milestones.
- Drive employee engagement initiatives, pulse surveys and action planning across APAC and EMEA.
- Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, Talent Acquisition and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for process improvement, streamline operations and elevate the overall employee experience end to end.
Requirements
- 7+ years of progressive HR / People experience, with at least 3 years in a regional or multi-country capacity.
- Proven experience building or scaling people functions in a startup or high-growth technology environment
- Deep knowledge of HR operations, compliance and employment law across APAC markets. EMEA knowledge is a strong plus.
- Hands-on experience with one or more HRIS platforms such as Workday, Namely, BambooHR, SAP SuccessFactors, Rippling or Lattice with proven ability to implement,
- optimise and manage these systems at scale.
- Strong track record of designing and implementing HR policies, frameworks and processes from scratch.
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills able to influence and partner at all levels of the organization.
- A self-starter who is comfortable operating with ambiguity, lean resources and high expectations.
- Experience working across EMEA in addition to APAC- Exposure to compensation benchmarking and total rewards across multiple countries
- Experience with global people analytics and data-driven HR decision making like Tableau
- Prior experience in a B2B SaaS or data technology company
- Comfortable leveraging AI for different HR processes, workflows, tools etc.
