About the role

The Senior Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure the delivery of excellent, person centred care for consumers and their families, carers, supporters. Qualifications obtained outside of Australia must be supported by an International Qualification Assessment via the AASW. Extensive experience in acute mental health settings along with well-developed leadership skills High level interpersonal, consultation, negotiation skills Commitment to work collaboratively and effectively as part of the multidisciplinary team with multiple key stakeholders both internal and external of the St Vincent's Health organization (including consumers, carers, family members and community agencies). Sound understanding of key legislation and frameworks including but not limited to the Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022, MARAM, FVISS, CISS Willing to obtain National criminal history check.
