Additional Information

Duties and Responsibilities: Instruction and Teaching Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate ballet lessons for students of various levels, from young beginners to advanced dancers. Teach and reinforce correct ballet technique, posture, body alignment, musicality, artistry, and safe dance practices. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning abilities and developmental stages. Foster students' confidence, discipline, creativity, and appreciation for dance. Student Development and Assessment Monitor, assess, and document students' progress on a regular basis. Provide constructive feedback to students and communicate learning outcomes and development areas to parents when required. Prepare written progress reports and participate in parent-teacher consultations. Examination and Performance Preparation Prepare and coach students for internationally recognized dance examinations, including RAD, CSTD, ISTD, or equivalent syllabi. Conduct examination rehearsals, mock assessments, and ensure students are adequately prepared for assessments. Choreograph and rehearse performances for annual showcases, concerts, competitions, examinations, and community events. Support production planning, including music selection, costume coordination, stage rehearsals, and performance logistics. Classroom and Studio Management Maintain a safe, positive, and nurturing learning environment that promotes discipline, respect, and teamwork. Ensure the wellbeing and safety of students during all classes, rehearsals, and performances.
