Casual Hospitality Assistant

About the role

Our Lagoon Street site is situated in the Bega Valley Shire and is the original site of Bega Cheese. Located on the beautiful Sapphire coast, far south coast of NSW, Lagoon Street is still producing Australia's favourite cheese products - cheddar cheese, string cheese as well as butter. Are you enthusiastic about creating great experiences and making people feel welcome? Our Heritage Centre is looking for friendly and reliable Hospitality Assistants for casual positions. You will help us provide excellent customer care and keep our daily operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and drinks safely and professionally
• Communicate clearly and kindly with guests and team members
• Maintain stock levels and attractive displays
• Keep service areas clean, tidy, and inviting
• Step in to support the Team Leader when needed
• About you
• Previous experience in hospitality, food service, and customer service.
• People management experience is beneficial.
• Must be customer-focused and a team player.
• A flexible, reliable, energetic, and resilient nature is essential.
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
