The role of the Environmental Technician is to facilitate the company's water sampling and mine pool measurement programs in accordance with State and Federal regulations. Remain current with permit renewal effluent and 8.15A monitoring. Conduct all work activities in compliance with Federal and State laws and Company policies, procedures, rules and regulations. Thorough understanding of NPDES permits and state laws that relate to the mining industry. Required: 3 years of experience in Environmental for Mining or related field. Good driving record. Work overtime and weekends. Field work. Good Computer Skills - Microsoft Office: Excel, Outlook, etc.
