About the role
1. Job Description Shortlisted candidates will be seconded to the respective welfare homes as stated below. Work Location: HQ / PERTAPIS Children's Home / PERTAPIS Halfway House Full spectrum of Home petty cash and claims management Safekeeping, disbursement, recording, and tracking of resident funds Disburse, document, and replenish school pocket money, resident concession, and resident related expenses Carry out bank transactions Manage vendor, procurement, expense reporting, and payment processes for Home Record and reconcile Home donations Update accounting software records for Home Participate in department trainings, meetings, projects at HQ Generate reports and ensure accurate filing for audit purposes Assist on audit and closing matters for Home Support administrative function of Home and HQ Prepare, evaluate, and support submission of grant related applications and reports Escalate and report any financial irregularities to Reporting Officer Support PERTAPIS programmes and activities as assigned by Reporting Officer and Higher Management Carry out any other tasks as assigned by Reporting Officer and Higher Management 2. Candidate Requirements Minimum "N" or "O", Nitec or Diploma in Accounting / Finance / Business or any related field Have experience with any accounting software Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Team player and able to work independently 3. Working Hours 5 days work - 9am to 6pm 4.
