About the role

The purpose of this role is to define, execute, and scale TelevisaUnivision Mexico's Data & Analytics roadmap, with a focus on First-Party (1P) data strategy for the Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) business. About You You are a strategic thinker with strong technical expertise and leadership skills. You have proven experience in data strategy, cloud infrastructure (GCP), and advanced analytics. You can manage multidisciplinary teams, drive complex projects, and translate technical outputs into actionable business strategies. You communicate clearly, are results-oriented, and thrive in fast-changing, data-driven environments. Your Day-to-Day Architect, lead, and implement the Household Graph for Mexico to improve cross-platform data strategy and monetization. Oversee and optimize GCP cloud architecture, ensuring secure, scalable, and cost-efficient data environments. Automate data workflows and ETL/ELT pipelines to improve operational efficiency and real-time data availability. Develop and refine audience segmentation and targeting strategies to maximize advertiser value and revenue. Manage, recruit, and mentor a high-performing data team across BI, Audience, and Data Science functions. Oversee BI operations to deliver automated dashboards and reporting that inform executive decisions. Develop ML frameworks using Vertex AI, including purchase intent prediction, attention scoring, and sentiment matching for brand suitability. Translate raw data into sellable audience cohorts for commercial teams. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Sales, Product, Marketing, ViX) to convert complex data outputs into business strategies. Ensure data governance and compliance with privacy regulations and internal security standards. Identify and act on digital advertising market trends to generate unique value propositions. Represent TelevisaUnivision's data and technology capabilities at industry events and client presentations.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Actuarial Science, or related quantitative field (required).
  • Master's degree or MBA and cloud certifications (GCP) are desirable.
  • Advanced English (written and spoken).
  • 10+ years of experience in data strategy, cloud infrastructure, and data monetization.
  • Deep expertise in AdTech, media, or telecommunications data.
  • Experience leading complex technical projects (e.g., identity resolution, household graphs).
  • Proven ability to optimize operational processes through automation.
  • Strategic planning, leadership, analytical skills, teamwork, and digital ecosystem knowledge.
  • Strong interpersonal, decision-making, and change management skills.
