About You You're a detail-oriented Senior accountant who thrives in a fast-moving environment where accuracy and timeliness aren't just goals - they're the standard. You bring solid US GAAP knowledge to everything you do, from journal entries to financial statement preparation, and you're comfortable navigating complex technical accounting questions with clear, well-documented conclusions. You've worked across both public accounting and private industry, which means you understand the rigor of an audit and the pace of a growing tech company. You communicate clearly across teams - because in this role, finance doesn't operate in a silo, and your ability to translate numbers into insights directly shapes how other teams make decisions. You're also someone who takes pride in building things right: whether that's a process, a reconciliation, or a mentorship moment with a junior colleague. What you'll do and how you'll have an impact Own the full month-end and year-end close cycle, including journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis, working within a defined close calendar shared across the finance team Manage accounting for commissions, financing leases, internally developed software, accruals, and prepaids - ensuring each area is documented and compliant with US GAAP Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial analytics and support the preparation of US GAAP financial statements reviewed by senior leadership Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights that inform business decisions - you'll be a go-to resource, not just a back-office function Research and document technical accounting matters, delivering clear memos that capture the issue, analysis, and resolution Support external audits and due diligence requests, coordinating responses and ensuring documentation is audit-ready Contribute to the implementation and improvement of accounting systems and tools, with a focus on scalability as the business grows Mentor junior accounting staff, helping them build skills and confidence in their day-to-day work
