Cherry Bekaert's Firm Strategy team is seeking an experienced M&A Integration Project Manager to help shape the future of our firm through successful acquisitions. In this position you will play a critical role leading enterprise-level initiatives from diligence through post-close integration, influencing stakeholders and accelerating outcomes by bringing structure, clarity, and momentum to cross-functional teams. This highly visible role will report to the head of our Integration Center of Excellence and offers the opportunity to work directly with executive leadership while driving complex integrations that deliver measurable business impact. This position will support remote work as a member of our nationally distributed team; however, candidates must capable of operating within Eastern Time business hours. As a M&A Integration Project Manager, you will: Lead and own end-to-end M&A integration project plans, including milestones, timelines, dependencies, and deliverables from diligence through post-close stabilization Drive execution across distributed, cross-functional teams-ensuring accountability, follow-through, and progress against critical milestones in a remote environment Proactively identify risks, issues, and delays, and escalate with clear recommendations to keep integrations on track Establish and manage integration governance, including virtual workstream check-ins, executive updates, and decision forums Coordinate integration activities across Finance, Legal, IT, Operations, People & Culture, Client Service, and Go-to-Market teams Deliver clear, concise, executive-ready reporting on progress, risks, and upcoming milestones Partner closely with senior leadership to align priorities, remove blockers, and ensure successful integration outcomes What you bring to the role: Bachelor's degree, preferably in a business discipline PMP certification or equivalent experience preferred 10+ years of experience within a professional services firm including a minimum of 5+ years of experience leading complex M&A integration or large-scale transformation initiatives Strong project management expertise, including planning, execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder coordination Ability to manage complex, cross-functional workstreams across remote teams with competing priorities and tight timelines Demonstrated ability to influence, drive accountability, and achieve outcomes without direct authority Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage executive and cross-functional audiences in virtual settings Experience building dashboards, reporting, and executive updates that translate data into actionable insights Proficiency with project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet) and Microsoft 365 collaboration platforms Ability to bring structure to ambiguity and translate evolving inputs into clear, actionable plans What you can expect from us: Our shared values that foster inclusion and belonging including uncompromising integrity, collaboration, trust, and mutual respect The opportunity to innovate and do work that motivates and engages you A collaborative environment focused on enabling you to further your career growth and continuous professional development Competitive compensation and a total rewards package that focuses on all aspects of your wellbeing Flexibility to do impactful work and the time to enjoy your life outside of work Opportunities to connect and learn from professionals from different backgrounds and with different cultures Benefits Information: Cherry Bekaert cares about our people.
