We are looking for a highly technical Application Support Engineer to support Front Office Fixed Income eTrading platforms, with a strong focus on pre-trade workflows (pricing, quoting, execution). This role sits directly on the trading floor, working closely with traders, quants, and sales, ensuring low-latency, high-availability trading systems operate seamlessly. You will be responsible for real-time issue resolution, system performance, and data integrity across the trading stack. Role and responsibilities Provide L1/L2 support for ION Front Office eTrading applications (Fixed Income / IRD) Troubleshoot trade lifecycle issues (capture, pricing, PnL, risk) Investigate trade and data breaks using SQL (positions, market data, reconciliations) Analyze issues across FIX, APIs, and messaging systems Support Orchestrade platform (configuration, workflows, trade events) Monitor and debug systems on Unix/Linux (logs, processes, performance) Build automation scripts (Python / Shell) for monitoring and reconciliation Support releases, deployments, and incident management Work closely with traders and developers to resolve issues and improve systems
