Responsibilities
- Work closely with Sound Designers and Technical Sound Designer to design, prototype, and implement new audio and music features;
- Help with debugging and optimizing audio and music systems and features;
- Collaborate with the other Audio Programmers to implement runtime audio systems and features, as well as necessary workflows;
- Partner with design, engineering, and Audio Team members to implement and improve existing audio and music tools that meet project needs;
- Actively contribute to cross-team audio tools and runtime development to help push the limits of what's possible in game audio for the project;
- Create documentation and share best practices and technical constraints of the audio systems and tools with the rest of the Team;
- Adhere to company coding standards and best practices;
- Assist with additional general programming tasks as needed;
- Be proactive and forward-thinking in implementing solutions.
- What we require:
- Expert-level proficiency in C++ and Unreal Engine, with strong experience in Audiokinetic Wwise ;
- At least 6 years of experience in audio programming, including low-level systems ;
- Proven track record of shipping AAA titles on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox (required) ;
- Open-minded and eager to learn;
- Excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
